# Circe

Circe is a community for women founders, investors, and operators in the Bay Area startup ecosystem. It exists to turn relationships into real outcomes — not just networking for its own sake.

## Who it's for

Circe serves three types of members: founders building companies, investors writing checks, and operators doing the execution work inside startups. Membership is by application and intentionally curated to keep the community high-signal.

## What we run

Circe programs include:

- **Bi-weekly founder dinners** — intimate dinners for members to build ongoing relationships across cohorts
- **Summits** — larger gatherings that bring the full community together around themes in the startup ecosystem
- **Pitch competitions** — showcasing female founders to investor audiences
- **AI hackathons** — hands-on events at the intersection of technology and building
- **Co-founder matching lab** — structured programming to help women find technical or business co-founders
- **Weekly newsletter** — spotlights female founders and highlights opportunities, events, and resources across the ecosystem
